About us
Travel people, based in New Delhi
A team of travel experts in New Delhi that plans private journeys in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, and runs every one of them on the ground. We believe the best trips come from care and close attention to the traveller.
Our story
A team of travel experts that runs its own trips
TravelZeg was founded in New Delhi in March 2020 by travel professionals with many years in the industry. The idea was simple: a team of experts that plans every journey itself and runs it on the ground.
Today we plan private journeys in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka for travellers who book with us directly, and we work as the local partner for travel companies abroad.
What we believe
Our values
Care
We treat every trip as if our own family were travelling: the right room, the right guide, a phone that is answered.
Local knowledge
We live here and travel the routes we sell, so our advice comes from experience, not brochures.
Honesty
We tell you what a place, a hotel or a season is really like, even when the answer is "not this time".
Time well spent
Fewer places and longer stays, so that you see more and travel less.
Our promises
What you can count on
- A reply from a specialist within 24 hours, with a first idea of route and price.
- Every journey private and planned to your dates, never a group departure.
- A contact in our team who knows your trip, reachable day and night while you travel.
- A clear quote, with everything that is included and not included written down.
How we work
Experts who know every trip
We are a destination management company: the team that makes a trip happen on the ground. Travellers book with us directly, and travel companies abroad use us as their local partner.
Every journey is private and planned to order. We contract hotels ourselves, travel the routes we sell, and choose guides and drivers for their knowledge and their manners. When something goes wrong on the road, a person who knows your trip answers the phone.
TravelZeg is a unit of SkyZeg Pvt Ltd, India.
Responsible travel
Travel that leaves more than it takes
We would rather show what we do than make broad promises.
- We use local guides, drivers and family-run guesthouses wherever they are the best choice.
- We plan fewer places and longer stays, which means less driving and more time in each community.
- We brief travellers on local customs before they arrive, from temple dress to photographing people.
